EMERGE serves youth in inner-city communities between the ages of 11-18+. Our mission is to develop and produce future leaders of marginalized communities.

A certified mentoring program developed by EMERGE that cultivates and promotes diversity, inclusion, and cultural literacy development among Black and Brown youth ages 11-18+.

Services
RapNerd Ciphers
We mentor foster youth, using Hip Hop to guide academic and personal growth. Our education units and programs are called “Ciphers” because Hip Hop artists use this tool to communicate, exchange ideas, and sharpen their skills.

Critical Reading & Writing Improvement
Our mentors target and develop critical reading and writing skills through literacy building.
